No notifications

I'm unable to add my cell phone number, and am not receiving any SMS notifications when my village posts a need. No one else in my village can either.

Hi Carmen, 

Sorry to hear about this issue; I can help! Our notifications are currently SMS based so anyone who has added their cell number to their profile will receive notifications. Can you help me understand why you're unable to add your cell number? Are you receiving an error? If you go to your profile then tap the settings gear on the top right, you'll find your notifications preference. Please make sure they are turned on.
